Mr. Chipman is a graduate of the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University (1979), where he was a Member (1978) and Editor (1979) of the Journal of Legal Studies. He received his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, cum laude, from Brigham Young University in 1976. He was admitted to the Utah State Bar and the U.S. District Court for the District of Utah in 1979. He has focused his practice on family law and domestic relations for more than 20 years. He was with McMurray, McMurray, Dale & Parkinson for 21 years prior to that firms’ merger with Fabian & Clendenin. He has extensive trial experience in the courts along the Wasatch front, and represents many out of state clients involved in litigation in the state of Utah.
