Fabian Law: Christian D. Austin

Mr. Austin is a shareholder with a broad background in complex commercial litigation, with emphasis on litigation arising from business torts, contract rights, employment, real estate development, and commercial and mortgage lending. Mr. Austin represents local and national business clients including developers, contractors, banks, title insurance underwriters, and many others. Mr. Austin also represents severely injured clients in wrongful death, brain, spinal cord and other catastrophic injury claims arising from medical malpractice, product liability, auto accidents and other negligence. In 2005, Mr. Austin was selected by his attorney peers and Utah Business magazine as one of “Utah’s Legal Elite” practitioners.

While he is a skilled litigator, Mr. Austin is also experienced in various forms of alternative dispute resolution including mediation and arbitration, and his work on the subject has been published in The Utah Labor Letter. Mr. Austin received his J.D. degree, summa cum laude (top 2%), from Brigham Young University’s J. Reuben Clark law school where he served as senior editor for the BYU Law Review and was inducted into the Order of the Coif. Mr. Austin is a member of the Utah State Bar and is admitted to practice before Utah state and federal courts.
