Jason is a former Naval submarine officer and Department of Energy certified Nuclear Power Plant Engineer. He received his undergraduate degree in physics from Rice University in Houston, Texas and his juris doctor degree from the University of Utah College of Law in Salt Lake City, Utah, where his accomplishments included Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Land, Resources & Environmental Law.
